With any model of best fit there is a caution.  Even if the model is a nearly perfect fit, there may be limitations on the function to predict future values.  In this case, Khalid will need to review more trends before concluding that the cost will rise to $25.29 in two months.  It is possible, but it is also possible that this model is only appropriate for a restricted domain.

Let’s explore one more data set.  For this scenario, you will simply be selecting potential models of best fit.
